Fairmont Private School Library: Anaheim, CA

This project takes place in the Library of the Fairmont Private School in Anaheim, California. Throughout this Spanish style library, we have furnished several sitting areas with rustic library furniture as well as installing multiple rustic bookcases, creating a place full of both learning and leisure.

Beginning with the shelving systems for this library, we have added multiple units of the Alamo Bookcase from our Office Catalog. Built from solid alder wood, these rustic bookcases are sturdy enough to hold all of the delightful books any library could ask for. With deep paneled sides and hand pounded iron clavos along the top and bottom edges, the details of these pieces contribute to the already present Spanish style of this library.

Of course, no library is complete without tables and chairs for its readers. As comfort is key when settling down with a good book, we have added the popular Silla Circa Chairs from our Dining Catalog. These simple, but beautiful, dining chairs are made from solid aged mesquite wood, and feature a soft, hand-dyed leather seat. The smooth Spanish arches and modest lines of the Silla Circa chairs were a perfect match for the Old World Spanish feel of this library, not only bringing a classic Rustic Colonial furniture style, but offering generous comfort as well.
Paired with these chairs are matching tables, also made from solid mesquite, featuring beautifully turned legs, hand pounded iron clavos, and a glass top.

To two already present sitting areas furnished with couches and chairs, we have added simple, yet elegant and bold coffee tables. The first coffee table (similar to the Mesa Espanola) features a smooth, multi-colored travertine top, complimented by a hand-forged, wrought iron base. The second coffee table, made from solid mesquite wood, features a round top accented with hand pounded clavos and a hand-forged, wrought iron base.

Bringing the traditional Spanish design of the Silla Circa chairs, we have also incorporated a few of our Banca Circa Benches. From our Living Room Catalog, these three-seater benches provide both beauty and comfort to this Spanish library furniture. With multiple seats, children can sit and read with their parents or students can gather to study on these smooth, comfortable benches.
