The Eagle Inn: Santa Barbara, California
Just a short walk from the Pacific Ocean, The Eagle Inn is a quaint, boutique style Bed & Breakfast, providing their guests with comfort and hospitality. Working directly with The Eagle Inn's designers, DeMejico was able to custom design a handful of brand new Spanish style hotel furniture pieces for multiple rooms in this beachside hotel.
In each of the bedrooms that DeMejico worked on,
our first additions were a version of our Old Spanish Poster Bed.
Combining a custom crafted, hand tooled leather panel, paired with intricate Spanish carving, the Spanish Poster Bed was the perfect addition to The Eagle Inn.
Featuring classic Spanish style, these beds are made from solid old wood, fitting just right into that Santa Barbara beach-y vibe.
The next additions to these cozy rooms are the nightstands and accent buffet/storage pieces.
Taking inspiration from the same "Spanish Poster" style of the beds, these accent pieces also feature hand carved detailing on old wood.
Finishing them off (and bringing in our DeMejico touch), each piece has a small iron banding adorned with hand pounded iron clavos around the top.
These hand carved elements throughout the room bring in our Spanish style, without overpowering the space.
After designing these pieces for the Eagle Inn, we knew we had to recreate them for our Furniture Catalog...
With a new spin on the design of the nightstands shown here, DeMejico created the Spanish Poster Nightstand, with added tooled leather paneling and a double door cabinet below.
With inspiration from our "Spanish Poster" and "Chapital" styles, the writing desks and desk chairs are the next and last additions to these hotel rooms.
The desks are a new design; featuring a smooth top, paired with hand turned legs, which follow our "Chapital" style of a twisted rope design. With simple raised panels on each side, these desks have a simplistic design that will stand true to style, for years to come.
Paired with these desks, The Eagle Inn chose to add in our Silla Chapital Chairs. Extremely popular to our Furniture Catalog, the backrests of these chairs feature tooled leather paneling very similar to those on the beds. Complimenting the desks, these chairs also feature our twisted rope design legs.
The final addition to the Eagle Inn takes place in the dining area, where guests can enjoy breakfast and each other's company. In this space, we have added our Old Wood Mazatlan Buffet.
Bringing in a touch of Old World Style, this buffet is attention-grabbing with its hand pounded copper paneling.
Added to the Eagle Inn, these copper panels mimic that natural rustic feel that goes along with residing by the beach.
